HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY

Born on 04.05.1960 in an agricultural family at Sirsangandla Village, Peddavoora Mandal of Nalgonda District. His parents are Sri A. Ramanuja Reddy and Smt. A. Jayaprada. Had his primary education in St. Marys High School at Miryalaguda and in St. Alphonsus High School at Nalgonda. Studied Intermediate in New Science College, Hyderabad. Graduated from A.V. College, Hyderabad. Did his Bachelors Degree in Law from Kakatiya University. Awarded gold medal in Law. He was enrolled in Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh in April, 1985 and joined in the Office of Sri Mahamood Ali. After four years, he started practice independently. He almost exclusively practised in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and conducted several cases on civil, taxation, criminal and constitutional side. He also practised on original side for some time. He was elected as Vice President of the A.P. High Court Advocates Association in the year 2004. He was appointed as Senior Standing Counsel for Central Government in the year 2004 which was re-designated as Assistant Solicitor General of India in the year 2005. He continued as Assistant Solicitor General till 2009. He was also appointed as Senior Standing Counsel for Central Excise, Customs and Service Tax. He was designated as Senior Counsel by High Court of A.P., Hyderabad in the year 2012. He was also the Counsel for Software Technology Parks of India, National Construction Corporation and BSNL. He is interested in music especially old songs. He was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and sworn-in on 12.04.2013. Appointed as Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh and assumed charge as such on 08.09.2014. His Lordship retired on the A.N. of 03.05.2022 on attaining the age of superannuation.
